I have to start this by saying that The Hall Family has the gratitude of a nation. No, we cannot feel your pain....but we see it and we ache for you. Our hearts our heavy, our thoughts and prayers are in your name. Not a moment has passed since Friday night that I do not think of each of you, especially Kristi. As a sister, I cannot fathom the pain. I cannot even wrap my head around the loss and the pain you must feel. The truth is that through each and every member of the Hall Family, Bryan has touched us. His sacrifice and his comrades is felt around this great country. I have searched and searched the Internet this morning for images, for the story. I have searched and searched my soul these past days trying to find a way to pay my respects to rationalize this tragedy. All I know is that I sit on my computer because of the soldiers. I live my life in freedom, free of fear, free of terrorism because of them. For that there is no way to truly express the depths of gratitude, the depths of thanks. All I can promise is that each of your families, nor you, will be forgotten. We will all do our best to stand strong in your honor.
No matter what your political views might be... One thing is for certain. In these days of fast news and even faster life styles... We all seem to have forgotten those moments in history that so abruptly and tragically changed this beloved Country of ours... 9/11… How soon we forget.
As of Sunday, April 12, 2009, at least 4,272 members of the U.S. military had died in the Iraq war since it began in March 2003, according to an Associated Press count.

And I'm proud to be an American, where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died, who gave that right to me.

ERin. . .you said it perfectly! Can you please keep me updated on where they set up a fund for the family? Also. . .how old is Bryan's little boy/girl? I don't want to bug Kristi with these q's.
This breaks my heart. It brings back all the memories/feelings of when Dustys beat partner died in Dec.
It's so great that the Hall family (especially Kristi) have you in their life to help cope with their loss.
Hey Miss,
Bryan's daughter Addison just turned 2 years old. To my knowledge there is no fund as it seems the federal gov't will have his daughter and widow taken care of. I will surely post updates as I can.

Erin
I'm just sick to my stomach about this. I cannot even begin to imagine being in the shoes of the Hall family, I'm just so heartbroken for them. So unfair, my brain can't make sense of it.
My heart and prayers to the Hall family.
My husband and I have unfortuantly had to attend such sad and unfortunate funerals. While I friends still over in Iraq and continaully check in on them and let them know how much I love them and thank them for their continued fight.
Thank you for keeping us informed...
Love,
Lindsay
You can bet that I stand ready when the wolf growls at the door,
Hey, I'm solid, hey I'm steady, hey I'm true down to the core,
And I will always do my duty, no matter what the price,
I've counted up the cost, I know the sacrifice,
Oh, and I don't want to die for you,
But if dying's asked of me,
I'll bear that cross with honor,
'Cause freedom don't come free.
I'm an American soldier, an American ~
Thank you Sgt. Hall and your commrades for your sacrifice and to Toby Keith for putting it in words...
I saw that on the news last night and was wondering if it was who I thought it was :( I'm so sad for his family. They are definitely in my thoughts and prayers. Give Kristi my love when you see her!
I was SO irritated last night when they showed the piece on channel 10 news because they totally showed their full address on the mailbox and then said how the family is out of town! I want to make a complaint about that but don't know how.

Thanx Erin. You're such a great friend.
