....that I do not yet have my "honeymoon husband" back. Chris did finish the written portion of his test on Wednesday last week. However, he spent Friday and Saturday at the station working on the practical aspect. At any rate, I thought that he would be "back" after the written.....
Yesterday he had some catching up to do on paying bills, etc. Meanwhile I decided I would go through the hope chest and sort out the various wedding mementos that we had saved and I hoped to organize them.
As I went through everything I came across our honeymoon travel folder and found only 1 passport. Oh boy. Luckily, it was mine. When I put that folder in the hope chest I was certain they were together. I stayed quiet and kept cleaning out the hope chest, figuring I would stumble upon the passport.
Finally after an hour or so, Chris comes in to see what I am up to. I asked him about his passport and informed him it was missing. Little did I know that I set the ball rolling for a massive search of the house. Having lost his keys (see previous posts) not long ago and had them missing for at least a week, he was in no way ready to accept he had lost something else.
Literally, we tore the house apart.
On a positive note, I will no longer curse at the washing machine and dryer for eating a pair of running socks which showed up in the luggage from the honeymoon :)
Ok, allow me to put something into perspective here. One issue that Chris and I have is that we are both very determined and independent. So, as I looked through certain things I often went back over to verify his work....I know, a bad habit. However, he has asked that I not "double check" him so much.....alas.....I backed off.
I was nearly certain I had seen it in his night stand, but Chris had checked.....and staying true to my word I did not double check it. As we continued our search and skipped cooking dinner we both decided to "call it a day".
This is where it gets fun.
Out of the blue after we scraped up some random food for dinner Chris goes into the bedroom and returns red faced laughing so hard he is crying.
I knew already what it was......he had found it.....but where?
Lo and behold the damn passport was in his night stand, right on top.
So it appears I may have to wait another week or so for this entire testing process to be over to get my honeymoon husband back :)

Haha, that's cute! Jason and I both start to feel uneasy if our place is cluttered/unorganzied. When we bought out gun safe we also made sure to have enough room in it to put ALL our important documents (even to the point of removing all financial/important information off the computer onto a flash drive that gets put into the safe) and pictures in there.
I hope that Chris is starting to feel a little better and that you get your "honeymoon husband" back soon!!!
Oh yea, and tell Tommy thanks for the snow, wink wink! I brought worse snow when I moved here in 06 though teehee.
Hugs
I guess this would also explain why we ended up with his flash drive behind the sofa??!?! I hope he can be trusted with Bella...
This just proves it: chicks are always right. :)
