Strange

So, I awoke this morning at 4am from a decent sleep with a ridiculous nightmare. It was nothing too crazy but for some reason it really frightened me. I tried to get back to sleep before my normal 440am alarm.....and I think I maybe got in another 10 minutes or so.....

I got prepared to run outside, foregoing the gym since Chris was home. I gathered my road ID, trusty Ironman, reflective vest and went looking for my house key. It was no where to be found. I knew I took it off my key chain on Saturday morning to do my long run. Oh well, I decided to go ahead without it. During my run I did my normal "soul searching" and also thought long and hard about where the heck I put my key. I thought to myself that maybe it was karma getting back at me for poking fun at Chris when he had lost his keys a few weeks back. I managed a pretty good time, took off about 30 seconds from my fastest run last week, but my excitement diminished as I walked up to the door and almost fell over. IN the lock was my HOUSE KEY. Did I mention that my last outdoor run was SATURDAY morning. Oh snap. I could NOT believe I had left it in the freaking door! I guess this was the type of day my Monday would be.

I got to work to find a schedule with only 7 patients....I normally see 10-11 a day. Hmmm. Within minutes of the receptionist arriving....3 patients had left messages to cancel. So, I saw 2 patients this morning and have yet to see another patient yet?!?!?! This is weird. I figured after lunch I would be busy as I had 3 more to see. So....my 130 appt is a no-show, my 215 patient cancelled and I am down to one more patient at 3pm. This is easily the most bizarre, strange, wacky day.

I am supposed to go to Pilate's tonight, but I am wondering if I need to hunker down at home or something as things have just been weird today.

Hope this finds everyone else having a normal Monday......
and
Feliz Cinco de Mayo

Is it a full moon tonight? Either that or everyone started drinking their Cinco de Mayo margaritas REALLY early! :)
