So last night an event occurred that I could not help but share. First let me set the stage:
In May while in Las Vegas I had my nose pierced after talking about it for a long time.....it has been a lot of dedication to heal it properly, especially with having to cover it for work. So, needless to say it is not the most comfortable thing to change, no where near the ease of changing your earrings.
Last night I awoke from my sleep with a strange pain in my left nostril......ever since the piercing I have tendency to touch the left nostril to ensure the piercing is in place....well last night after this odd pain.....the piercing was not there......
I sprang out of the bed, flipped on the bathroom light to see that indeed, the piercing was not there. In my half asleep haze I dug into my "bag o' nose and navel rings" and cleaned a stud....and my nose and hoped that I had in fact awoke quickly enough that the hole hadn't closed. Luckily the piercing went in without too much pain. I immediately turned on the bedroom light (by the way....Chris is in la la land thus far) and started trying to find my tiny little stud (oh, after I found my glasses of course as I am BLIND without them). I searched as much as I could with the snoozing husband in the bed and he finally woke up and rolled over INTO my designated sleep area(HA!)..... thus contaminating my search :-P
We both looked for a bit and then decided it was a lost cause. He tried again this morning, crawling on the floor and scouring the bed, but it was a bust.
Needless to say I would pay good money for video of how in the freakin world my piercing came out.....I mean, it is not comfortable or easy even when I am awake and prepared....let alone asleep!
So I head to bed tonight a bit scared of what may come....and I will surely be checking my nose as soon as I wake up!

LOL, thats funny. I thought you were going to say you sniffed it up your nose. I used to have a tongue ring and one time I almost swallowed it. Pretty scary.
I used to have my eyebrow pierced and my greatest fear was me or someone pulling it out. And it did get caught on things. However, I did love it (and miss it now). Glad to see you found the stud. Those things can be expensive :P
