Arrived home last night to study....and decided most of today will be spent studying. Got a short 4.75 miles in this am and had a tough time staying above a 9min/mile pace. This new training plan is a challenge. I felt like I was crawling, but I am hopeful that it pays off and I achieve my goal! I have a 12-miler schedule tomorrow at 9:12 pace, hoping for fresh, happy, strong legs and a nice morning.....so I can be ready to spend Sunday Funday with my hubby :)
For today....I'm home studying, or at least trying.
OH, I almost forgot. So when I saw Kristi on Christmas she showed off her beautiful new Betsey Johnson bag. I've been obsessing over it ever since. Looking at them online, eBay, etc. Decided I would look with Mom while in EG at TJ Maxx. Gave up hope and started browsing through the pink purse section....when hidden in the back....there she was. A PINK version......I carried the darn thing around for at least 20 minutes trying to decide. She retails for $395 and was marked at $149.
So here I am having an internal discussion....
Self: "Erin, you know you don't NEED the bag"
Self #2: "Yes, but you have been looking at them and thinking about the bag for at least a week now, and obviously you came to this store looking for the bag...."
Self: "I know, I know. But, I just got a new Ed Hardy bag for Christmas. How many purses do you really NEED?....it's a WANT not a need"
Self #2: "Yeah, but she is $250 off the retail price, that is a STEAL"
Self: "Mom, what would you do?" simultaneously texting husband a photo and "what do you think?
Self #2: "Well Mom says she would buy it....and husband says it suits me...."
Self: "Then I guess you should go for it...in fact, didn't you just put some Christmas money in your account that will cover that....."
Self #2: (Collecting bag and receipt from cashier walking out the door....Literally jumping up and down like a little kid) "Thanks Mommy....for helping me make the decision....and for the Christmas moolah that helped me buy it!"
Ok, I cannot help but post this....because seriously....this is how I feel about my studying

Glad I could contribute to your addiction!
Thanks for sharing the moobie with me; it meant alot :-)
I can't help but giggle at that little picture... so true! And I find it so cute that your Mom's name is spelt exactly like my MILs name (we plan on passing on the tradition of "ee").
Sadly, or not... I'm still the throw the wallet in the jeans kinda gal. hehe!
Hugs!
Ok thats funny! I'm glad you got the purse. I love to live my fashion life through you. LOL! And I totally saw Kristi today in good old EG. Michelle and I saw her at Starbucks. And I'm glad to see that you took a "break" from studying to blog. LOL!
