I just may be in heaven.....

On Monday I came home and got the mail as usual. In it I was surprised to see a bright yellow envelope with the infamous "caps lock" handwriting of none other than Tommy, addressed to "ERIN". I am strange with mail (surprise, surprise....) and I tend to save special things like the card for after dinner. I like to sit on the couch or floor and open anything out of the ordinary from friends/family.


I sat the card aside to be opened later..........I flipped it over and saw "DO NOT OPEN UNTIL YOU RECEIVE CLEARANCE"

Shoot. It'll have to wait.

Yesterday I came home to find a box wrapped in Christmas paper (Chris' wrapping job I might add) and the yellow card sitting on top. Of course, me being me.....I sat it on the counter and planned to wait until after dinner. Once I opened it....I'd wished I had opened it right away!

Meet my marathon stick. I'm thinking her name will be "SPeeDy" with the SPD to represent Bubba :-) I went to town last night with this thing.....quads, hamstrings, even my arms! For a moment while icing my knees I had her across my chest with my eyes closed and hubby snapped a picture to send to Mot so he would see just how much I ♥ my early b'day gift! To anyone out there who has sore muscles this is THE tool to have. I adore it. I also love that she's nice and small, so the next time I travel to a run.....she is coming with me!
