I have been checked out of blogger lately. Indeed I have been reading posts, but I have been a bit aloof. The past week and a half has challenged me in many ways. I have been alone quite a bit and am trying to cope with those 48's that turn into 72's or 96's.......
We are also approaching another April, which will mark another year since Grandma has been gone. As if I am not dreading 29 enough, she passed three days before my birthday.....so it puts a bit of a dim light on the week. With recently learning how to knit it makes me long to share it with her. She was so interested in what us grand-kids were up to.....no matter how silly. I remember compiling running shirts, school assignments, sewing projects, etc. to share with her when we'd get to visit. I particularly remember introducing her to Gatorade Propel after it was a give away after a race. To this day I drink it and remember her. I remember sitting and talking and I remember surprise morning visits on holidays with little bags of goodies. There is so much to remember.

At any rate, I get to head down to spend the weekend with Ma & Pa. I'll be running a 10K on Sunday and have not run this race since the day Grandma passed. It'll be great to be at home with Mom & Dad and get some time with them, not to mention Mom and I have not done a race together since.......

She certainly left her mark on so many people in different ways - I know that she would indeed be so tickled to see you knitting!!
Looking forward to this week-end to spend some Mom/Dad/Daughter time :-)
I admire how close you and your family are.
