June Favorite's

It dawned on me as I was walking into work today.....I did not do my June favorite's blog! So here goes.....

I stumbled on this exfoliating face mask on accident. After a few pricy facials....I went on a hunt for something I could do at home. This brings me to another favorite...SEPHORA...I ♥ it.....yes, more than Ulta. At any rate....this mask is so fun. Every other week I lather up and get a tingly facial for 30 minutes before bed. It feels so great and, the lavender scent is a treat to the nose.

Thanks to Momma Bear I have been on twitter for awhile. However, now that more and more people are on....it's a lot more entertaining. I actually got a "tweet" about Michael Jackson passing from CNN News before I heard/saw it on the news. Not to mention, some of the makeup gurus I follow offer exclusive sale codes on their twitter pages!

Much of my free computer time is spent watching makeup tutorials, skincare tutorials, etc. I kept hearing this product used and decided I wanted to try it out. Previously, I was using MAC creme based shadow as a base. However, I was finding that it would sometimes crease if I put on too much, or my shadow would "fall out" if it was not on thick enough. However, lately with this product.....once my eyes are done.....they are DONE. For hours. Literally, I have to use makeup wipes as standard washing will not take the shadow off! You need the tiniest little drop, so it will last and last!

Last month I did something I would not normally do. I went to a MAC counter. You must understand that going to makeup counters, for me, is like torture. I get nervous, overwhelmed and just slither away usually as I have NO idea what I am talking about when it comes to makeup. However, I signed myself up for MAC's "Studio Talk" at the local mall. It was a 2 hour class about makeup. For $50 we had a room full of makeup artists to show and tell us all about makeup. The $50 went towards MAC products so I bought this prep+prime. I have fallen hard for it :)

Last, but certainly not least....my new iPhone 3gs. As many of you might recall I was given my 1st generation iPhone by Chris as a surprise.....and he did it again with this phone. The rumor about 3gs being fast......is true! It has blazing speed and a ton more space for music, apps and pictures. If you are a phone junkie, it is a must have, in my opinion.

I think that is a wrap on my favorite things for June. There are more to come this month tho....
