Barbie 2.0

Apparently Barbie has gone GaGa. Literally. It's no surprise to anyone who knows me....I'm obsessed with GaGa. It's worse than when I was in high school and my adoration for Gwen Stefani left me wishing for rock hard abs and punk styling. It's a little weird. I was talking with PC the other night while we walked our 'baby' (i.e. Chihuahua).

Me: It's weird isn't it

PC: What? The Lady GaGa thing?

Me: Well, yeah. I've not been obsessed like this....well for sure since I met you, well excpet with running, but that's different. Or is it?

PC: It could be worse, and it's just your personality.

Me: Really, you think? And did you just suggest I'm obsessive?

PC: I think it's cute. You're like a little kid. Well you have every song, and then some. Don't you download mixes off YouTube for your iPod, and didn't you buy concert tickets before the tour was officially official? Oh and remember that wig and synthetic hair bow you bought....

Me: Ok. Really, I get it. But cute. Really?!?!? Now I feel stalker, freakish, ocd-ish?

PC: Hmmm, well I never thought of it like that

Me: Great

At any rate, the more I learn about her....her love of fashion, her musings on life, equality, human rights...the more interested I become. Just wait bloggers....my true obsession will rear it's ugly head soon....my Halloween costume....is none other....than Lady GaGa....stay tuned....
