I'm sure you all thought I forgot....but alas, here is the September favorite list!

These hidden treasures showed up in a pre-race package from Bubba & Linds. If you remember fruit roll-ups in your younger years, you may recall quickly learning they are packed with sugar and preservatives. Meet the updated 2009 version....these are SO yummy, all natural, no preservatives and only 45 calories! There are tons of flavors and can be found in the natural foods section at the grocery store.
I ran across these from Dirt Diva's blog. I had a similar pair that I had purchased at REI for the Napa Marathon and instantly loved them. The Moeben sleeves (for me) where even better! They are complete with a small pocket for gel or GU! Best part is this: I e-mailed the owner of the company and asked about getting the "stars and stripes" version special for the Lake Tahoe Marathon. She took FOREVER to respond and e-mailed Thursday before the race. She ended up OVERNIGHTING the sleeves (2 pair and the matching skirt) without even receiving payment! Needless to say, she is all about customer service!
Cold Stone Creamery Jelly Beans
These little marvels showed up in a package from Bubba & Linds. At first I wasn't sure what the hype would be about. However, as I packed for Cowtown Marathon I thought I had better taste them before I decided to use them or not. O.M.G. These are literally to die for. Bananas!
Ultima Replenishing Drink
Leading up to lake Tahoe Marathon I was curious about this "Ultima" replenisher that would be at aid stations. I could not find it, so I figured I would stick with water during the race. As PC and I wound our way through the race expo in Lake Tahoe we saw two large water jugs and the "Ultima" sign. I finally had a chance to taste it and we immediately agreed the lemonade flavor was tops! It is not chalky or too sweet like many other replenishing drinks. It can be purchased at local REI stores and online.
Hot rollers
My oh my. Funny what you find when you clean out your closet sometimes. I have had a set of hot rollers and foam rollers for years. As many of you know I am always changing my look in some way....or at least trying. I decided to hot roll my hair the other morning and fell back in love with these little marvels. I love changing my look so easily and think this is my signature look for fall :P
