With the recent increase in violence against public servants, one cannot help but think and worry about those you know and love who may be at risk. So many friends, family members, etc. have loved ones who are in danger every day....just because they are doing their job. I was introduced to St. Michael by a law enforcement officer friend and I find it comforting. Many who know me are aware that I am not religious, yet spiritual in my own way. This prayer brings me comfort as I imagine it has for soldiers, officers and all others putting protection of community and country at the forefront of their lives.
This should come as no surprise to anyone....Yes, it is the new Lady GaGa album, The Fame Monster. I started listening to Bad Romance well before it was released and got hooked immediately. When I bought the album.....most songs are the same, especially a track titled Speechless. I know her music is not for everyone, but I cannot stop listening to this album!

I've long used hairspray that is more like cement, as I am a fan of *big* hair. I think maybe I
should've been from Texas with my love for humongous hair, ha! At any rate, Kristi had been telling me about this product.
ULTA had a great sale, so I went ahead and bought a
couple bottles, it was well worth it. This stuff not only holds forever, but it also adds body and volume on those *flat hair* days.

I purchased these two books before our trip to Maui to keep me occupied on the plane. I literally finished the first on the plane. I was so enthralled in
Eccentric Glamour and am hoping to read some other books from Simon
Doonan. It was right up my alley and is a great read for anyone into fashion, glamour and creating your own style.

After finishing
Eccentric Glamour I had the plane ride home to read
The Extra Mile by Pam Reed. I have read quite a few running books and often I get bored or become 'over it' with all the technical jargon. However, this book is just a no-muss, no-fuss story of Pam Reed and her running and personal life. I love that she tells of her triumphs and of her troubles. I really loved this book.

For a long time, I have only ran with Jelly Beans and Clif Shots in Espresso. During the last long run, PC would be using the last of our Clif Shots and I had a freebie Hammer Gel in Rasberry that was in my goodie bag from the Lake Tahoe Marathon. I am no fan of fruity goo. However, this goo changed my mind. The consistency was much more smooth than a Clif Shot and the taste was not horrific. Not to mention....how cute is the little hammer at the top?!? I'll be armed with a few of these babies at CIM this weekend!
So Cheers for a great December and thanks to the items I loved in November!

OMG! I have been using Big Sexy Hair Hairspray, the Spray & Play Harder one. Its the BEST and I sweat by it. It sucks that its like $17 a bottle but I stock up when its on sale. I swear by the stuff. Also love the Root Pump plus foam that you spray on your roots for more volume. LOVE both of those products!!!
I too had never heard about St. Michael BPA!! I am so grateful that our special public servant has his to carry and keep him safe!
I am pretty certain that I have seen the Big Sexy Hair products at Wally World and Target'!! Might be a small savings?!?!?
Looking forward to seeing you both cross the finish line on Sunday!
