Hard to believe the end of the year is upon us. 2009 brought so many adventures, lessons, laughs and cries. As the year turned from 2008 to 2009 I wouldn't have imagined what 2009 would bring.
I am proud to say I passed my NCS exam, qualified for Boston, completed 4 marathon's and qualified to become a Marathon Maniac! We spent 10 amazing days on Maui with my family, Chris finished his first marathon, we worked on the house and celebrated our 2nd year of marriage. We spent my 29th birthday celebrating with friends in Las Vegas and came home to try and support close family friends suffer through the loss of a hero and paid tribute to a fallen Soldier.
A day does not go by that we don't think about their loss.
The end of the year is a natural time to reflect on the past and look to the future. Chris and I have many hopes and dreams for 2010 and we will spend the evening celebrating 2009 and dreaming of 2010. Cheers to you all for a safe and Happy New Year's!
Be sure to tune to the Rose Bowl tomorrow to watch Oregon beat Ohio State and look for John, Betty and Kristi Hall along with Kristi's boyfriend Dan!
GO DUCKS :)
