Spring 2010 Fashion

Designers are presenting their Spring 2010 Haute Couture Collections in Paris as we speak, err...type. I had to select a few of my favorites as I was beyond excited to see some of my choices from the fall in magazines and chosen as favorites! I have zero, zilch, nada fashion experience or training and it was nice to know I had the slightest clue what the fashion editors chose as the best :)

Givenchy 2010 Haute Couture. The overall collection....eh, so.so. However, I am digging the skirt, the movement.....you can just imagine how it would move in life by the way it "moves" in a still picture. I doubt I'd ever own thigh high boots, but I have to say...spot on with the delicate skirt and edgy boots. Chanel, Haute Couture. The hairstyles in the Chanel show were all too reminiscent of a look Lady Gaga wore for the Video Music Awards. I do love the metallics and side button details, and of course the dainty hair bow ♥

John Galliano for DIOR Couture
This is a nice sampling of the show. The ruffles, the equestrian look, the crazy jewel toned makeup and fabrics. I am certain some of these will show up on celebrities. Count on it!

I included this look from the Dior Haute Couture 2010 collection for the jewel toned makeup and platinum blond hair. The use of make-up to contour is also amazing....
