I didn't expect it would be me.
I often joked that I would not be embarassed to use one if I had to....however, now that I need to....it's different. I am managing through work, but it is not easy. My co-workers are trying to treat me when we have time and I have went through x-rays and meeting with my MD. I am still waiting for some improvement. Every day I wake up hoping, but nothing yet.
The differential diagnosis is currently either a pelvic stress fracture/reaction or a bulged lumbar disc. In either case the only definite way to diagnose is an MRI. Of course, they are expensive tests and a patient must report pain for a particular timeframe before they do them.

Clinically it could go either way.

For now I focus on helping Chris continue his training for Seattle.
At least through him I can be out on the road, if only on the bike....
