Now that I am back to training (and paranoid about getting injured) I am trying to take extra special care of my body. I have started adding these protein drinks to my post-long run routine. They have so far allowed me to rack up some decent back to back mileage and limit soreness.
I found the Style.com iPhone app after going through many apps about fashion. This one is perfect for me! It has all the deisgner collections for each season, (I had even seen the beloved Alexander McQueen as worn by Anna Paquin BEFORE the Emmy's on the app!). I love that I will be able to use it with NY Fashion Week starting next week and I will get to see all the collections....as if I were there....maybe some day!
I usually try not to have foods like chips in the house. However, a girl has gotta do what a girl has gotta do sometimes.....and I succumbed to these. I have always liked the "hint of lime" version....but these are. A.Mazing! Highly recommend.
I became a fan of Hammer Nutrition products months ago and just tried their H.E.E.D. drink (High Energy Endurance Drink). The calories are fairly low and it has a good amount of electrolyte replacement. I, once again, am doing everything in my power to ensure I have the fuel I need to stay healthy during this training program!
