Peas & Carrots.....

Well, January is nearly half over already! Hard to believe, but true. Chris and I had a rare weekend with both of us home with truly "nothing" to do.
We spent Friday night getting caught up on how each other's weeks went and watching one of our favorite shows, "Friday Night Lights". Not sure if anyone watches, but secretly I watch because Tim Riggins is reminiscent of a Greek God.....and is supposed to be a teenager....I somehow feel like a perverted Mom, but dang :P
Saturday was nice and relaxed and we got to have my parents up to watch the Green Bay Packers, and importantly Brett Favre (Mom's favorite)....Brett is my Mom's "Tim Riggins" :) The afternoon was enjoyable and very relaxing for all.
Alas today we had a nice relaxing morning and went on a run together. Running at Chris' pace is not too hard for me, but also turns out to be a great deposit "in the emotional bank account" as Covey would put it. We ran 5 miles and it was a nice thing to do together.
He had to do a lot of studying so I have been on the computer a fair amount. Turns out he likes to have me at the table while he studies so I have gotten caught up on magazines, websites, etc.
Looking toward the work week I have a frightening Monday on hand with several new evals that I am dreading.....luckily, I have Pilate's in the evening, I only hope I am not so backed up on charts that I can make it!
However all week I get to look forward to seeing my family on Sunday....so that will keep me going :)

Yeah for "nothing" to do week-ends!!!

Thanks for sharing your HDTV, as it gave me the opportunity to see if Brett had shaved Saturday (he had NOT) :-) As always the company was super and the food YUMMY.

We too will look forward to Sunday all week...
