Time, time, time....is on my side.....

.....or is it?
Seriously, there needs to be more than 24 hours in a day. Chris and I were just talking this morning about how life is nothing more than sleep, work, eat (mostly) for the average working American. There is little time for much else when a person works full-time and tries to manage a household....not to mention if you throw having a family in the mix.....CRIPES!

I guess the bulk of my frustration centers around being a working/career person and trying to deal with getting the most out of life. I was out running (in the dark of course) this morning at an ungodly hour and I couldn't shake the feeling of....why? So....the reason I work out in the morning is two-fold, or maybe even three-fold.
1. Working out in the morning allows the exhaustion that surrounds me after work.
2. Working out in the morning allows me to enjoy the evening with my awake husband, who despite what he would tell you is not the morning person he thinks he is ;)
3. Working out in the morning helps me to prepare for my day, in that, I can lecture people a little easier about the need to be active when I myslef am active.
So with that all said, I should technically be able to be productive and active after work. However, referring back to #1, I am often seriously spent after work.

Of course all of this banter is really just me avoiding the fact that I am none too happy with my work situation. I had to tell the pediatric clinic that I could not make a well informed decision without more information from Kasier. Oh, and by the way....my management has still ignored my e-mail. So, for now, I will keep waiting. I will see my manager tomorrow, maybe just maybe he will talk to me about it one on one.....

In other exciting news.....
Chris and I FINALLY bought our very first set of couches :) We had been "hand-me-downed" several items that filled the house for us. They were delivered last night and we are thrilled with them. Not sure if anyone has seen Fiddler on the Roof, but there is a part when Motel finally saves enough to buy a sewing machine.....the town is excited, he is grinning ear to ear....I think we feel a bit like that. For me it is even more special that I am/was able to contribute to the home that Chris bought before we met. Ok, off to work.....

I hope to post some photos of our "new additions" this weekend :)

Yay for new couches!! :D

I need to have you give me a working out in the morning pep-talk. Scratch that - I need a WAKING UP in the morning pep-talk first.

Fingers crossed for getting that one-on-one tomorrow!
