I started Monday morning off waking up at 5:30 am (mind you my alarm is set for 4:40 usually!) and panicking. I wanted/needed to get my run in, so in my haste making the bed without glasses I smacked my leg into the bed. I opted for a short, fast run and managed to have a bug decide my mouth looked like a comfy place to land.
Fantastic.
Of course, it was apropos that I ended my week with yet another bug in my mouth on my run. Talk about coming full circle.

Bubba had his "OC training", read "get sprayed with massive amounts of pepper spray and tortured through an obstacle course".....He had a fellow academy member video the encounter....what an accomplishment to survive and pretty tough to watch.
I am so proud of him, but as I watched I thought to myself...."who is that person?"
Is Bubba changing, or is how I see him changing?
I know he will always be my baby brother, but dang....seeing him doing self defense maneuvers, drawing a gun, cuffing someone....

Which department up here is he going to, or does he know yet? My MIL is a dispatcher for 911 in Bellevue but should be eventually transfering to bremerton PD radio dispatch.
It's hard watching your little brother grow up, I know. Every time I go home and see Corey it baffles me how he could change so much in such a short period of time, and yet be the same... hard to explain, but I'm sure you completely understand!
Hugs!
Dusty says that the OC spray, gas, and tazer are the worst things he's ever experienced! You bro's a CHAMP!! Go Bubba!!!
