This morning, I decided I needed to get out and run. I had convinced myself that if I took Bella with me, I could always walk if "she couldn't keep up", er....I couldn't do it!
She was excited to head out with me, and did SO well. I did 3-miles and felt ok. Of course my quads hurt, but it felt good to break up some of the lactic acid. Her previous "training" on walks has taught her well to stay on the sidewalks.....however, she ended up trying to get on the sidewalk at one point.....where there IS no sidewalk and catapulted herself into a GIANT puddle, up to her little neck. She was drenched before the first half mile was done.
It was such a treat to run with her, I think I may see how she does on shorter runs like today. I figure it's better to talk to her than myself....people will think I am less crazy for running at o'dark thirty in the morning ;)

Awwwww... Poor Peanut! People will also see you guard dog and leave you alone!
