Favorite Things of July

Reflecting back on July, here are some of the highlights and also my latest FAVORITE THINGS.
I bought this tool months ago and have played with it rarely. However, with more time alone and extra time on my hands, I have fallen in love again with my Bejeweler Pro. If you ever leave anything at my house....watch out....I WILL put jewels on it :)

This photo was just taken from our drive up north to Washington to move my BABY brother into his HOUSE. My brother, a homeowner. I still have trouble sometimes realizing that time is flying and my brother has a life in another state. We are BEYOND proud of him and his new place is just incredible. He picked a winner for sure.

I often shop the "bargain bin" at Target and stumbled on this tea. No, it was not on sale, somebody just put it on the shelf and I bought it anyways. It's a nice treat, I like it iced especially.

I was introduced to this sauce back in grad school. A particular friend in the Physician's Assistant program and I used to cook together a lot and he used this when he made pot stickers. I was hooked. Regular teriyaki sauce ain't got nothin' on Soy Vay.

At a softball game of Kristi's her parents and I got to talking about our upcoming road trip to see Tommy. Betty mentioned "Exit 86" in Oregon, so on our way back home I thought we should check it out. Betty raved about the marionberry pie....she was spot on. Marionberry is awesome, reminiscent of my families famous (to me of course) blackberry pie and jam. It's a cute little restaurant and they had SAMPLES....yes, apple crisp, marionberry pie, pumpkin bread pudding.....cookies....YUMMY! It's called Heaven on Earth....check it out.....

I just discovered these by sheer accident. On our drive home I knew being awake the whole time I would have the urge to snack. I mean, when I am bored, I either a) play with my iPhone or b) eat. I found these at the gas station and they are SUGAR FREE and super sour and tasty. I popped these babies the whole way home and I know I will be keeping these in my purse.
