I remember MANY years back when my dear 'ole Dad worked at the fire station not too far from home. Each night he worked my Mom would package up a home cooked meal (along with us kids) and we would go to the fire house for a visit. Inevitable another family of on-duty firemen would be there doing the exact same thing. That is my first memory of TZ and her family. There were 3 girls in her family and my poor brother would often be left to play ring around the Rosie or have dance competitions in the 'rec room'. At any rate, as all the children have grown and our Dad's have retired....thanks to technology we still get to keep in touch and run into each other now and then at fire department functions.
This whole big story is really just to let any of my reader's now that Tracy over at Then I Got to Thinking is having a giveaway. Her items look awesome and as much as I may secretly be coveting the win, I think you should check out her blog and enter! Thanks for the contest Tracy!

YAY!! How funny that those are you first memories. They are mine too! Back when the firestations were filled with families, communities, and true firefighter spirit ;) I am so glad you and your family is still in my life... I mean, where else would my inspiration for running be sparked?!? :)
Wait...the true firefighter spirit is no more?!?!?! :-P
We miss it too daily in the stations...
